Amirhossein Shojaei

Amirhossein Shojaei is a well-known photographer based in Iran. Born on the 21st of August, 1989, he pursued his education in Civil Engineering at the Islamic Azad University South Tehran Branch from 2008 to 2013. Amirhossein’s passion for photography led him to explore the world of still photography. As a member of the Iranian Society of Still Photographers, he has been actively involved in various projects, collaborating with renowned directors and artists. In addition to his filmography, Amirhossein Shojaei has also showcased his photographic talent through exhibitions. His exhibition titled “Far” held at Atbin Gallery in 2015 received recognition and appreciation from art enthusiasts. Amirhossein’s work has garnered critical acclaim and numerous accolades. He was awarded the Crystal Simorgh for Best Photography at the 35th Fajr Film Festival for his work in the film “Subdued” directed by Hamid Nematollah in 2017. “The Guard” marked the starting point of Amirhossein’s journey as a filmmaker, and it sparked his creativity and drive to explore the art of storytelling through directing.
